Cancel No, I am not a health care professional. In order to meet the strict requirements for hygiene, occupational safety and patient safety, effective instrument reprocessing is an important prerequisite. At Aesculap, we rely on the established standard using the tray system.
Good results are not necessarily associated with higher costs. The contrary is true: Our modern instrument management using AESCULAP® wash trays can even save you money. For example, by preparing and storing the instruments in a tray rather than individually.
The storage of tools and burrs for machine cleaning and surgical use is complex.
On the one hand, the tools and burrs must be stored in such a way that they become completely clean while in storage, but are fixed firmly enough that they do not fall out of storage during reprocessing and transport. In turn, they should be easy to remove in the operating room. Integrating the burrs into the relevant instrument trays increases efficiency, as no additional sterilization resources are required and no assignment of the burrs to the treatment tray is necessary. The new AESCULAP® burrs storage systems are validated for machine cleaning and can be integrated into the AESCULAP® Dental Trays.
In order to respond appropriately to the increasingly strict legal hygiene requirements, surgical instrument reprocessing has been significantly developed in recent years. This also applies to dental surgery.
Safety for your patients, for your staff and for you as a surgeon thanks to our instrument reprocessing. Benefit from the advantages of our tray and container system.
Labour-saving reprocessing with AESCULAP® wash trays contributes to good hygiene results and higher cost effectiveness.1 The trays have a large perforation, which is the basis for an improved washing success. Time-consuming pre- and post-cleaning is eliminated.
The procurement and waste of disposable foil packaging contributes significantly to the cost for your hygiene management. By using AESCULAP® sterile containers, foil packaging is eliminated or reduced, allowing you to make substantial savings.1
Since both the AESCULAP® wash trays and the procedures for reprocessing are standardized, the description in the practice's quality manual is also significantly simplified in contrast to manual individual instrument reprocessing.
