THA Dysplasia workflow is a powerful feature of the OrthoPilot® THA Universal 2.0 software offer. It was specifically designed for severe dysplastic cases. THA Dysplasia reflects the surgeon's own pre-operative planning and provides not only leg length and offset information but also the distance to the planned cup position. This means that THA Dysplasia can provide not only real-time leg length and offset information but also distance to the planned cup position. This workflow gives the surgeon an exact control of position and orientation of the acetabular reamer, optionally displayed with a real-time reaming map, and the cup implantation based on the information given by the pre-operative planning. Leg length and offset information are additionally important variables to ensure stability and function of the hip joint.
