The cementless stem design Bicontact® E is suitable for severe dysplastic changes with very narrow medullary cavities. The design differs from the existing stems of the Bicontact® family primarily in the upper medial part, which is important for the anchoring of the stem prosthesis. The distal shaft is flat and conical tapered.
